Defender Jumps the Screen

When a defender cheats over the top anticipating the curl, a well-timed back cut creates an easy layup. Players learn to set up the screen with a hard step toward it, read the overplay, and reverse direction explosively — including hand target for the passer and how to finish at the rim under control.
